Model United Nations?
模擬聯合國(Model United Nations, MUN) 效仿聯合國及相關國際機構，遵循國際會議的議事規則，模擬實境針對全球議題進行討論。學生們必須扮演各國外交官，模擬各國立場，藉由公開演說闡述代表國家的立場、透過辯論或遊說整合各國意見、執行大會議事規則實踐民主投票，最後再模擬撰寫具有法律效力的決議文。 模擬聯合國普遍公認這項活動源自哈佛大學。早在聯合國成立之前，約1920年代，就有學生模擬國際聯盟討論國際議題，因此模擬聯合國的歷史比聯合國本身還悠久。
Model United Nations is an ongoing paradigm in international participation, which models the actual political discussion process facing global issues by adopting rules of procedure utilized in the United Nations and associated organizations. Students role-play as diplomats representing different countries, speaks publicly for their position, debate or consult with other nations, develop resolutions and then vote, eventually simulate writing a legal final resolution. It is believed that Model UN was launched in Harvard University, back In the 1920s, before UN was founded, there were students simulating Model League of Nations conferences to discuss world problems, which makes Model UN has a longer history than United Nations does.

創始於1920年代，最初由哈佛大學學生模擬國際聯盟(League of Nations)。Model UN的歷史比聯合國更悠久。官方紀錄，全球有50萬學生進行MUN會議，從小學到博士班皆有，是種終身學習的活動。民間推算，全球有200萬人進行與MUN相關的活動與工作。全球每年至少有400場官方紀錄的國際級MUN會議，規模從200人到4000人皆有。
Model UN in Facts & Figures Began as a series of Harvard student-led Model League of Nations simulations in 1920s, has a longer history than United Nations does.Official figures show that approximately 500,000 students from elementary to graduate school participate in MUN globally; it is a lifelong learning activity.There are nearly 2,000,000 persons from across the world devote on MUN related activities and work.
Officially at least 400 MUN conferences are held every year across the globe, the number of participants for each conference ranges from 200 to 4,000.

By attending Model UN, students not only can improve their English skills, also can learn how to collect information effectively and precisely through analyzing global issues, to express themselves in a clear and logical way, and to build up their ability of critical thinking. Besides, students can reinforce the ability of communication in the process of debating with delegates representing different countries. Finally, role-play as a diplomat makes students act and behave properly in MUN conference, which turns out to be a wonderful opportunity to train students become a great leader.
